Turn down animations
Developer options let you scale window and transition animations. Setting both to 0.5x makes a budget box feel noticeably quicker.
Kill recommendations
Recommendation rows keep background services awake. Disabling them reclaims memory that your player would rather have.
Background wake-ups
Restrict background activity for anything you do not open weekly. The box will sleep properly and wake faster.
